New Delhi:A 55-year-old woman was found murdered in her house with a polythene bag wrapped around her face in southwest Delhi’s Dwarka area.
The woman, Sunaina Agarwal, was found lying unconscious in the kitchen by her son on September 26, a senior police officer said.
Her son informed the police and she was taken to a nearby hospital where she was declared brought dead.
Police suspect the involvement of a close relative in the the murder as no household items or valuables were found missing.
“A close relative of the woman has been detained and he is being questioned. The call detail records of the man point towards his involvement in the murder. We are also probing other leads,” said the police officer.
