Chandigarh, January 17: A middle-aged woman, who was living alone, was today found murdered at her house in Sector 42 here, police said.
Her body, bearing deep cuts caused by a sharp-edged weapon, was found this evening and police suspect robbery as the motive behind her murder as her house was found ransacked.
A case has been filed and investigations are on.
