Hyderabad, January 18: A decomposed body of a woman was found in Sainikpuri under the Neredmet police station limits on Monday.
According to Sub inspector Ch Murali Mohan, the victim has been identified as Shikha Roy (50), wife of late S K Roy, a resident of Vivekanandapuram, Sainikpuri, Neredmet .
On Monday morning, the neighbours called the police after detecting foul smell emanating from Roy’s house. Police rushed to the spot and broke the door where they found the body in a decomposed stage in a room.
After panchnama, the body was shifted to Gandhi hospital for PME.
Police registered a case under Section 174 CRPC.
