Mathura: A 38-year-old woman died today allegedly after she was administered a wrong injection by a “quack” at his clinic at Vidyapeeth crossing in Vrindavan, police said.
“Saina died immediately after she was given an injection by Balak Das, who runs a clinic at the crossing,” they said, adding a case has been registered by the victim’s husband, Sher Khan, at Vrindavan police station.
Khan in his statement to police said his wife was being treated by Balak since Monday and the accused had asked him to continue the treatment even as her condition became serious.
Meanwhile, Chief Medical Officer Rajendra Singh said the incident will be probed and the accused educational qualifications will be verified.
