Ghaziabad, Apr 19: A woman and her daughter were electrocuted in Loni town here, police said. Rajkumari (42) was washing clothes next to a shop at Mohalla Naipura last evening.
As she rose to dry them, the clothes accidentally came in contact with the tension wire. The current soon passed on to the shutter of the shop, leading to the mishap.
Her daughter Hema, 14, rushed to save her but she too was electrocuted, police said. The locals shift them to hospital where they were declared brought dead.
The bodies were sent for post mortem, police said.
