A 38-year-old married woman allegedly committed suicide by setting herself ablaze at Meerapur town in the district, police said today.
Anuradha set herself afire last evening and her husband Vinit sustained burn injuries while trying to save her, they said.
The woman died on spot while her husband was rushed to hospital in serious condition, police said.
Family dispute is stated to be the reason behind the suicide.Police is investigating the matter.
