Hyderabad: In Banjara Hills area, a woman consumed poison and committed suicide. She was vexed with the alleged harassment by her husband.
According to the report of the police, Mumtaz Begum (40), a resident of Bhola Nagar area of First Lancers was the wife of Mohammed Saleem. She consumed poison on 20th February. Later, she was admitted in hospital where she died during the treatment.
Police sources indicated that Mumtaz Begum was facing harassment by her husband. He used to harass her on trivial matters quite often. Unable to bear this treatment, she took this extreme step.
Banjara Hills police registered a case and started investigations.
