Lucknow, November 27: Under distress due to poverty, a woman along with her infant daughter allegedly committed suicide by jumping in front of a train in Khaga area here, police said today.
The unidentified woman, who lived in a makeshift tent in Vijay Nagar locality, jumped in front of the goods train along with her daughter at Khaga railway station.
Police said the woman has left two children behind, who will be sent to an orphanage.
