Firozabad, October 20: A 22-year-old woman allegedly committed suicide after being harassed for dowry by her in-laws in Ramgarh area, police said in Firozabad on Wednesday.
Shushma Devi, who got married five months ago, hanged herself from the ceiling in Buddha Nagar locality on Tuesday,
Deputy Superintendent of Police Anurag Darshan said. Shushma’s father Murarilal has alleged that she was killed for dowry by her in-laws.
He has filed a case in this connection, the DSP said.
