A woman who caught fire in an attempt to burn ants succumbed to burn injuries. According to police 28-year-old Rehana Begum was trying to burn the ants which appeared in her house by pouring kerosene over them. During the attempt she herself caught fire.
Rehana Begum was badly burnt during the incident. She was rushed to a private hospital where she succumbed to burn injuries yesterday night. The body was shifted to Osmania Hospital mortuary for post mortem and later handed over to the family.
