New Delhi: A newlywed woman was allegedly battered to death by her husband with stones today in outer Delhi’s Mangolpuri area, police said today.
Aarti (30) and Rahul were in a relationship and had tied the nuptial knot about a month-and-a-half ago, police said.
It is suspected the couple had an argument and Rahul in a fit of rage killed Aarti with stones, police said.
He reportedly called up police at 7.30 PM and told them that he had killed Aarti. He said he would come to police station.
However, police have not yet been able to ascertain his whereabouts.
