Just before the 7th batch of Hajj aspirants of State Hajj Committee left for the holy pilgrimage, officials had to face an emergency situation when a woman Hajj aspirant expired while another aspirant was shifted to the hospital as his condition suddenly deteriorated. Thus 5 people’s journey had to be cancelled at the eleventh hour. However with the efforts of Prof. S A Shukoor Special officer Hajj Committee the seats were replaced by another 5 Hajj aspirants.
According to details the flight was at 12 noon and the Hajj aspirants left the Hajj House at 8 am. Just before the departure of Hajj aspirants it was informed that Mrs. Abida Begum (78) resident of Chhawni Nade Ali Baig, Yaqut Pura expired and other members included in her cover including her son Abdul Qadeer (60) and daughter-in-law Kishwar Jahan cancelled their journey.
Another aspirant belonging to Hyderabad, 70-year-old, Muhammad Sadiq suddenly fell ill and was shifted to the hospital. His wife Razia Sultana also cancelled her journey.
