Jeddah, July 7: A woman belonging to Andhra Pradesh has been allegedly abducted at Sharjah. A woman named K Maryamma who hails from Peenukonda mandal of Godavari district has been abducted by some unidentified men on Friday. President Migrants Rights Council Mr. P Narayan Swami lodged a complaint at Indian embassy Dubai regarding her abduction.
She was abducted while she was coming out of a church at Sharjah. It is suspected that she has been shifted to flesh trading centre. Mr. Narayan Swami said that he talked to M P Singh at Indian embassy at Dubai and informed him about the incident.
He told that several women belonging to Andhra Pradesh have been shifted to flesh trading centres which are run by some NRIs at Dubai and Sharjah. They are rescued by Indian embassy and brought back home.
