Woman among four commits suicide in separate cases

Four persons, including a woman, committed suicide due to different reasons.

In Marredpally police limits, 43-year-old B Amrutha committed suicide by hanging to the ceiling at her residence in Laxmi Nagar of West Marredpally on Monday night. According to Marredpally, Amrutha took the extreme step after having an argument with her husband Gopal on some trivial domestic matter.

In another case, P Krishna, 28, succumbed to the burn injuries which he suffered after setting himself ablaze on January 1. He resorted to the extreme step at his residence in Sai Nagar near Nandimuslaiguda after having an argument with his wife over some family issue. He was admitted to the Osmania General Hospital where he died on Monday night, according to Rajendranagar police.

In a separate case, P Devdas, 60, committed suicide by consuming some unknown acid. He took the extreme step on Monday night at his residence in Chaitanya Housing Society and died at the Gandhi Hospital a few hours after admission. Devdas was a retired government employee and was reportedly facing some financial problems which are suspected to have driven him to suicide, according to Alwal police.

In a different case, 25-year-old C Narasimhulu committed suicide by setting himself ablaze. He resorted to the extreme step at his residence in Yalal of Ranga Reddy district on January 3 and died at the Osmania General Hospital on Tuesday. Financial problems are suspected to have led him to the extreme step, Yalal police said. (INN)
