Woman among 2 killed, 10 injured in Kashmir accidents

A woman was killed after fall from a tree while one person was killed and ten others were injured in separate overnight road accidents in the Kashmir valley, official sources said here today.
They said 23-year-old Mehmooda died on the spot when she fell down from a tree in a forest at Pahalgam in south Kashmir district of Anantnag.
A cyclist Abdul Majeed Sheikh was hit and critically injured by a horse cart at Sheeri in Baramulla. He was immediately rushed to hospital where he was declared brought dead.
Seven people were injured when two vehicles collided at Sandhbal Ganderbal in central Kashmir. The injured were hospitalised.
They said a truck hit and injured a three wheeler driver Shakeel Ahmad Kawa at Khalifapora Chowk in the down town city while one Inderjeet Singh was injured after a car he was driving collided with another vehicle at Baramulla.
Both the injured were admitted to different hospitals. However, Singh was later referred to S K Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS) in a critical condition.
