Ludhiana, Dec 29: A woman along with her two daughters were found murdered in the farm land in the on Monday morning. Their throats were slit and the trio was lying in a pool of blood in the fields.
They dead have been identified as Simran (28), Divya (8) and Pooja (6). Simran was married in Karnal and had come to invite her parents living in in Salem Tabri for the wedding of her brother-in-law.
Yesterday evening, she went out to get some refreshment for her daughters but did not return home and today morning, the bodies were found in the fields near the railway line.
The police are questioning Ashok Kumar, husband of Simran, who works in a bicycle shop near the railway station in karnal. The police have also recovered two knives from the spot.
