Muzaffarnagar, December 22: Two witnesses were today examined in connection with a case filed against item girl Rakhi Sawant in a local court here.
Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate Jyotsna Singh has set January 4 as the next date of hearing in the case.
Narendra Singh had filed the case claiming that his wife Sunita Singh was wrongly presented as married to some other man in one of the episodes of ‘Rakhi ka Insaaf’.
The case was filed against the show host Sawant, the channel ‘Imagine’ show bosses and Dev Bhardwaj, the man shown as his wife’s husband.
Singh claimed he is married to Sunita since August 2003 and the man shown in the episode is not her husband.
Narendra has filed charges of defamation, obscenity and indecent representation of woman, among others.
