Without Haj permit no entry into Makkah

Makkah: Brig. Gen. Khaled bin Nashat Al-Qahtani informed that no person will be allowed to enter Makkah without Hajj permits. This step has been taken to ensure the safety of the Hajj pilgrims. He further told that citizens and expatriates transporting illegal pilgrims would be arrested and their vehicles will also be seized.

 

Brig. Abdul Rahman Salem Al-Thamali, In-charge of the Taif police and Commander of a Local Monitoring and Control Checkpoint, told that police would not discriminate between citizens and expatriates.
He also said that security has been tightened at various checkpoints.
