There are chances that Govt. might withdraw power tariff hike or keep its implementation in abeyance. In the wake of the criticism from various parties including Congress, CM promised that he would revise the rates.
He was talking to newsmen in Chittoor District. He told that Govt. would ensure that the common man is not overburdened any more. He informed that the recommendations sent by Electricity Regulatory Commission are being reviewed and a final decision would be taken on 5th May. He told that the proposed hike in electricity charges wont overburden the public.
