Lucknow: BSP supremo Mayawati conducted a meeting with party workers at the state office. On the occasion, she took a dig at BJP’s state and central government saying that the BJP government is considering withdrawal of criminal cases against saffron leaders as nationalism. She said the prime minister has turned blind eye to rising prices and lawlessness in Uttar Pradesh.
She expressed fear that Lok Sabha elections could be advanced and asked the activists and officials to prepare for it.
Mayawati claimed that communal violence has increased tremendously during Yogi Government’s rule. Government is unable to provide employment to youth, they are forced to leave Uttar Pradesh. People have defeated BJP in municipal elections, still, BJP government is playing politics in the name of caste and religion. Cases booked against saffron leaders in serious cases are withdrawn to give a clean chit to them. 22 Cr people of Uttar Pradesh feel cheated on this attitude of BJP.
