APSRTC Managing Director Sambasiva Rao today said that alternate arrangements are being made to provide transportation to public who are hit by workers strike since last night.
Addressing a press conference he said that the corporation is unhappy at the workers for pressing the government for 43 per cent of fitment. Appealing the workers to withdraw strike and resume duties to avoid inconvenience to the people, he said that they are ready to hold talks on the demands. Denying 43 per cent fitment which is not possible, he reiterated that they can offer 27 per cent fitment only. We are making alternate arrangements to the people to take private buses he said. (NSS)
