Withdraw False Cases Against T Protagonists: TPF

Telangana Praja Front (TPF) president Akula Bhumaiah has demanded that the State government withdraw false cases against the Telangana protagonists.

Speaking to mediapersons here on Tuesday, Bhumaiah condemned the arrest of TPF general secretary Nalamasa Krishna in a false case on August 3. He bemoaned that though they have submitted memorandum to Home Minister P. Sabita Indra Reddy to withdraw false cases against Nalamasa Krishna and other Telangana protagonists, the State government has failed to do so. He also alleged that the State government was trying to file false cases against the TPF members, who were actively participating in Telangana movement. He has alleged that the State government was trying to derail the Telangana movement by filing false cases against Telangana leaders and protagonists. He also charged the State government with trying to put out the Telangana movement at the behest of Seemandhra leaders by registering false cases against Telangana protagonists.

TPF vice-president Veda Kumar has demanded that the State government withdraw the false cases against the Telangana leaders and protagonists. He also warned the government of dire consequences if it failed to withdraw the false cases. (NSS)
