New Delhi: All India Muslim Personal Law Board Vice-President and Shia Cleric, Maulana Kalbe Sadiq suggested that Babri Masjid land claim should be withdrawn if Supreme Court decides against the Muslims.
He further said that Muslims should peacefully accept the decision of the apex court.
Talking to media on this issue, he said that the Muslims should give up their claim on Babri Masjid land and give it to the Hindus who are deeply attached to the place.
According to the report published in TOI, justifying his statement, he said that by giving a piece of land, Muslim can win the hearts of millions of people.
Reacting to the statement made by Maulana Kalbe Sadiq, Maulana Syed Nisar Husain Haider Agah, President All India Shia Majlis-e-Ulema and Zakerin, Hyderabad told that since the case is pending in the Supreme Court, no one has a right to offer his opinion. He also said that Babri Masjid is the abode of Allah (SWT) it is not the property of any human being. He further said that he has full faith in Supreme Court. He totally rejected the statement made by Maulana Kalbe Sadiq and said that no Shia Muslim would support his opinion. He mentioned that his statement is a conspiracy to divide the Muslims.
