Hyderabad, July 9: Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) floor leader Sanghi Reddy Srinivas Reddy on Thursday requested Andhra Pradesh Central Power Distribution Company Ltd. (APCPDCL) vice chairman and managing director to take immediate measures against wires and cable hanged onto the electric poles illegally.
In a letter addressed to the managing director Mr. Sanghi Reddy stated that the electric cable wires hanged onto the poles mostly at important thoroughfares have become question mark on the beauty of the city.
These hanging wires can be hazardous to the pedestrians and also to bike riders. There are many transformers on which fuse box is kept open which can be dangerous for the life of people.
