Job Description:
Create and modify technical documentation for a variety of technical products, as part of a team
Research, interact with SME and gather information with assistance
Update content with validation from supervisor
Perform self reviews
Work with the doc team, and in collaboration with a globally distributed development team
Contribute to the development and maintenance of professional documentation, templates and style guides as per standards
Format and structure technical documents like software product descriptions, release notes, and design documents.

Knowledge of documentation process and life cycle.
Knowledge of either MSTP, or the Chicago Manual of Style
Self-motivated and flexible
Ability to work both independently and as part of the software and technical publications teams
Passion for excellence and quality
Patience and strong attention to detail
Skills required :
Professional experience of 1-3 years in technical writing for technical products, preferably in one major domain.
Engineering degree, or an equivalent technical qualification would be preferred.
Knowledge of and experience in modular documentation and XML would be an added advantage
