Winter session left people unhappy: DK Aruna

Alleging that the ruling party behaved arrogantly with its absolute majority in the Legislative Assembly, Congress MLA and former minister DK Aruna has opined that the winter session left the people of the State unhappy.

Speaking to the media here on Thursday, Aruna alleged that the Assembly virtually turned into a forum for TRS party. The Congress pulled up the ruling party on Land Acquisition Act in the House and the party members succeeded in creating awareness among the people on the State government’s Land Acquisition Act. She said the State government had failed to instill confidence among the farmers.

She also alleged that the ruling party wasted the precious time of the House with its magic words. She said the Chief Minister failed to give clarity on carry forwarding the funds of SC,ST Sub Plan funds and alleged that the ruling party suppressed the voice of the Opposition parties with its numerical strength in the Assembly.
