Windies bundled out for 45, lose T20 series against England

St Kitts: Chris Jordan’s stunning bowling performance helped England bundle out Windies for 45 runs, allowing them to win the second T20 of the three-match series by 137 runs to take an unassailable 2-0 lead in the series.
England had set a target of 183 runs in front of Windies.

Windies crumbled in a spectacular fashion as Jordan lead the way with extraordinary figures of four for six runs, the best by an England bowler in T20 cricket.

The Windies team was able to put up just 45 runs recording the second-lowest total in T20I’s.

West Indies were never able to get going as David Willey dismissed Chris Gayle(5) and Shai Hope(7) very cheaply.

After that captain, Eoin Morgan brought in Jordan into the attack who wreaked havoc on the Windies batsman.
Earlier, Windies won the toss and chose to bowl first.

Sam Billings, England’s middle-order batsman played a magnificent knock of 87 runs to allow his team to post a challenging total of 183 runs on the board.

After 18 overs, England were just 138 for five, but the onslaught by Billings in the final overs saw England post a mammoth score of 183 runs.

Windies will now look to play for pride in the final T20I of the series.

Windies takes on England in the third T20I of the three-match series on Monday, March 11 at St Kitts.
