TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu has questioned the people if they would vote to a person, who has been put in jail for committing crimes.
Naidu, who came to Ramachandrapuram in East Godavari district for election campaigning, has spoken to the media at Kakinada. He said that while the Congress was a party of thieves, YSR Congress was a party of plunderers. He said that these parties have also corrupted the judiciary through their heinous methods.
Stating that the recent exposures were reflection of how these parties were manipulating even the judiciary, he said that it was atrocious that the jailed mining mafia leader Gali Janardana Reddy had settled a deal to pay Rs 60 crores to the judiciary for letting the jailed criminals out. He said that taking Rs 10 crore as advance, a judge had given bail to Gali Janardhana Reddy and it was shameful that even the judiciary had stretched hands to take looted money. Stating that his party had never done any wrong, Naidu exuded confidence that his party would sweep the ensuing by-elections. (NSS)
