Hyderabad, July 07: Is Telangana Rashtra Samithi president K Chandrasekhar Rao trying to create a political instability in the state?
This is the second time that TRS Legislators have resigned and put in their papers to the Speaker of the assembly under the pretext of separate Telangana.
What went wrong when they first resigned their elected posts is not clear, but it can be assumed that their resignations the second time around may not bring the desired results.
What is required by the pro-Telangana leaders or people is a democratic Telangana based on social justice and fabric which is seen to benefit the Dalits and poor and not a ‘doras’ pattern of Telangana to which the KCR and his family belong.
Mere resignations will not fetch a separate state for Telangana as experienced earlier.
For the past 17 years, the conspiracy hatched by the so called leaders of Telangana directly or indirectly spelt doom to the Dalits particularly those from the Madiga community who were in majority.
Injustice had been meted out to the said community for all these years with even Telugu Desam Party president N Chandrababu Naidu also sidetracking it for reasons best known to him.
The successive leaderships and the governments are not keen on a burning issue like SC categorization.
Even the Reddy Ministers like K Janareddy, Geetha Reddy, Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, Ramreddy Venkat Reddy to name a few and MPs like Sukhender Reddy and Madhu Yaskhi among others including Telangana Political Joint Action Committee convenor professor M Kodandaram Reddy did never show interest for the said categorization despite the Assembly having passed resolutions three times and Centrally appointed Usha Mehra Commission deciding in favour of SC categorisation.
The dominant Reddy Ministers in Andhra Pradesh rallied against the candidature of Damodar Rajanarasimha as the Deputy Chief Minister and were trying to create political and Constitutional unrest in the state now by quitting their posts.
The deputy Chief Minister’s post came to a Dalit after a long time – nearly after 18 years but the fact is unpalatable among the Reddys’ and Doras’ community today.
The state spokesperson Maha MRPS Munjegalla Vijaykumar Madiga asserted that if the cited leaders were truly interested in separate Telangana, those who resigned from their posts should not contest till the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh and prove their sincerity.
The protagonist of Telangana late professor Kothapalli Jayashankar of Warangal, who was a Dalit was put in a loop line and not made leader of Telangana JAC.
Instead KCR chose to hand pick Kodandaram Reddy, who is a Reddy landlord which shows KCR’s affinity for Dalits.
The MRPS leaders said that they needed a social justice Telangana and not KCR’s Telangana and demanded that a Bill on SC categorization be passed in Parliament before the Centre takes a decision on separate Telangana.
