Governor ESL Narasimhan today said the farmers should get loans from the banks for the crops during rainy season. He said the State government was giving top priority for the farmers’ welfare and giving sops liberally.
Talking to the media at Jagtial, Narasimhan said implementation of schemes was good in Telangana. However, he said the farmers are yet to get loans from banks. “As far as agriculture loans are concerned, I will take up the issue with the Centre”, Narasimhan said. Stating that there are some lapses in implementing the schemes, the people are being benefited from welfare schemes”, he observed. He also said law and order was under control in the State.
Earlier, the Governor and his wife Vimala Narasimhan took a holy dip at Godavari River at Dharmapuri and offered special prayers at Narasimha Swamy temple. (NSS)
