Hyderabad, July 25: Alleging that Speaker Nadendla Manohar cheated the people of Telangana by rejecting the resignations of the regions MLAs `unilaterally’ without consulting them, Telugu Desam Party Telangana Forum convener Errabelli Dayakar Rao on Sunday said that his party Legislators would seek the opinion of legal experts before submitting their resignations a second time.
Talking to media persons after emerging out of emergency meeting at Telugu Desam Legislature Party office, Mr Dayakar Rao said that the Telangana leaders are ready to tender their resignations for second time and make concrete efforts towards statehood until Centre takes a clear decision.
“However, the TDP leaders would consult legal experts before submitting resignations to prevent the Speaker from rejecting them a second time too,” the TTDP Forum convenor said.
He alleged that, “once again the Centre hampered the Telangana state formation by using Speaker’s office as a tool.”
Mr Dayakar Rao also revealed that the TDP Forum members would meet again on Monday to discuss the future course of action as many their leaders are participating in Telangana flag hoisting programme in the districts as per the schedule announced earlier.
Another Forum member and MLA Motkupalli Narsimhulu called upon all Telangana leaders to submit their resignations again and agitate for the separate Telangana state by creating Constitutional crisis.
“Only by creating a Constitutional crisis can the Telangana state be achieved and not through by elections,” Mr Narasimhulu pointed out.
