Mumbai, August 09: Producers Burmawala Partners comprising of the number one thriller director duo Abbas-Mustan, their editor brother Hussain Burmawala and Studio 18, come together for a drama-comedy, LIFE PARTNER. The director Rumi Jaffri is an old war horse in Hindi cinema and not new to comedy, having written hilarious scripts as well dialogues for the once upon a time comedy king, director David Dhawan.
Naturally, through David, Rumi Jaffri’s partnership with ex-comedian No. 1, Govinda goes a long way back, both having worked together in many hit comedies. Prominent amongst them are JODI NO 1, HASEENA MAAN JAYEGI and BADE MIYAN CHHOTE MIYAN.
