Former APCC president Botcha Satyanarayana, who is all set to join YSR Congress Party soon, today accused former chief minister Nallari Kiran Kumar Reddy of cheating the Congress Party.
Botcha, who is camping in Vijayawada and busy talking with Kapu leaders supporting him to join the YSRCP, alleged that then chief minister Kiran Kumar Reddy dumped the Congress party in the last minute of bifurcation of the State. Despite being one year in the Congress after bifurcation, there seems to be no other way to strengthen it, he felt.
Meanwhile, efforts of APCC Chief N Raghuveera Reddy and party MP KVP Ramachandra Rao to contact Botcha proved futile. The Congress did not commit any mistake by bifurcating the State, he said and alleged that Kiran cheated the party and its leaders. He attributed the defeat of the party to the cheating tactics of Kiran, who failed to inform us on the division and ramifications.
The former minister revealed his mind that he will be joining the YSRCP soon. This is possibly during YSRCP Chief Y S Jaganmohan Reddy’s Deeksha at Vijayawada possibly in the first week of June. (NSS)
