Will jagan come out next month?

YSR Congress leaders are exuding confidence that their leader Y S Jaganmohan Reddy would come out of the jail next month. The premise for their hope is the direction of the Supreme Court to the CBI, to complete its investigation by the end of March and file charge-sheet. The supreme Court had also said Jagan could file bail petition if the agency failed to compete its investigation by then. However, CBI’s argument on the matter is different. The agency claimed that no specific time was set for it to complete the investigation. However, the cadre of the YSR Congress is hopeful that Jagan would come out of jail in April. They are also arguing that Jagan would be permitted to apply for bail, if CBI fails to complete its investigation by the end of March.

Earlier also when Jagan moved bail petitions, the party cadres hoped that he would come out of the jail. But every time he applied for bail, he and his followers faced disappointment. But they are now confident that he would surely get bail.

However, Congress and TDP leaders are making sarcastic remarks that Jagan went in for good and would remain there. TDP leader Revanth Reddy even said the CBI would complete its investigation while Jagan was in jail and he would be sentenced to seven years’ imprisonment while in jail. He said Jagan would not be allowed to come out until the hearing of the case was over and would serve sentence as a continuation of his term as undertrial prisoner. But YSR Congress leaders are hoping he would come out of jail this time. (NSS)
