Assam: A day after reports of inhumane, brutal thrashing of three Muslim women including a pregnant woman at the hands of protectors turned perpetrators- Police officers made it to the news channels, the Assam CM Sarbananda Sonowal has ordered a probe into the incident.
Giving directions to DIG the CM has ordered to conduct an inquiry and immediately file a report into the incident reported from Darang district of Assam.
The brutality of Police cops has now been revealed following the suspension of two officials involved in the brutality who mercilessly assaulted the sisters, one of whom was a physically challenged sister while the other was a pregnant woman.
According to reports, the women stated they were allegedly stripped off their clothes and mercilessly beaten up for the whole night leading to termination of the woman’s pregnancy in connection with a case involving their brother.
