London, Aug 7 : Wildfires in western Spain have forced at least 1400 people to leave their homes as other European countries face warnings over dry and hot conditions.
According to the BBC, campsites and towns in Spain have been evacuated as helicopter and planes assist in tackling the problem of the blaze in Sierra de Gata mountain area.
Experts said that around 80 percent of neighbouring Portugal is experiencing severe or extreme drought conditions.
Meanwhile, Germany is experiencing the hottest temperature on record, measuring at 40.3C on Friday. (ANI)
