Imran Ahmad Khan Niazi, The cricketer-turned-politician has finally been accepted as Pakistan’s next prime minister. Prior to entering politics, Khan was a cricketer and philanthropist. He played international cricket for two decades and later developed philanthropic projects such as Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital & Research Centre and Namal College.
Khan retired from cricket in 1992 as one of Pakistan’s most successful players and he is one of eight world cricketers to have achieved an ‘All-rounder’s Triple’ in Test matches.
After his recent victory in 2018 general elections, a YouTube channel named Journeyman pictures uploaded an interview of Imran Khan with Julian Assange who is the founder of WikiLeaks. This interview is of 2012 where he talked about various issues in Pakistan, at the point of time Imran Khan was running for 2013 general elections.
The discussion was a part of the Assange’s former television show The World Tomorrow.
