A man was today found dead at his residence in Bandhan area, with his parents suspecting foul play by his wife and in-laws, police said. Massuri police has arrested six persons, including the victim’s wife –Aasma, mother in-law — Murshid, three brothers in-law– Siroj, Amir, Jubair and neighbour — Bittu on charges of murder. The victim Amjad Kharad, a construction worker was married a month back to Kotdwar resident Aasma. His in-laws had come to stay at their residence as they were to attend a wedding in the locality. According to the police, today morning when Aasma woke up, she found Amjad strangulated to death with belt marks on his neck. Police also recovered a diary with blood marks from the residence.
