The Humayun Nagar police on Sunday solved the mystery behind the murder of US-based NRI and took his wife, her minor son and four others into custody.
According to the Humayun Nagar inspector Bhiksham Reddy, the deceased Javeed Ahmed, a green card holder was found dead at his residence in Vijayanagar Colony under suspicious circumstances on last Tuesday. Police registered a suspicious death and began investigation.
Javeed Ahmed was staying along with his wife Ayesha Fatima (30) at Raj Residency Apartments since his return from the USA about six months ago. Investigation by the police revealed that Ayesha with the help of her minor son and his four friends, all minors, strangulated her husband with the help of scarf for property. The arrested accused are being remanded to judicial custody. (INN)
