Manama, August 15: Kuwait has one of the highest divorce rates in the region and religious figures and counselors have been calling for more vigourous ways and better communication between couples to tackle the issue.
A woman in Kuwait was granted the right to divorce her husband after medical reports proved he was impotent.
The decision by the Personal Status Section of the First Instance Court to grant the divorce after the wife claimed that she was young and could not face the psychological trauma of being married to a man suffering from impotence, Kuwait daily Arab Times reported.
