HYDERABAD: In a gruesome incident, an infuriated wife allegedly severed her husband’s genitals after he allegedly demanded to have sex with her.
The incident happened on Monday at around 1.30 pm in Karimnagar district in Telangana.
According to media reports, the couple used to used to quarrel frequently. Things took an ugly turn on Monday, when her 40-year-old husband R Ravinder came home drunk and tried to force himself upon her in front of her two kids.
This infuriated and she grabbed a knife and attacked his private part in a fit of rage.
A case of attempt to murder has been booked against the woman under section 307 IPC and will be remanded in custody in another two days, said a police officer.
Ravinder is undergoing treatment at a government hospital.
