As a bone to the tech-savvy travelling public, the Secunderabad railway station will have Wi-Fi facility from Tuesday and the facility will be launched by the Union Minister of state for Labour and Employment, Bandaru Dattatreya.

This is being done as a part of a modernization process for all ‘A’ and ‘A1’ category stations across the country. Railway stations in New Delhi, Chennai and Bangalore already have wi-fi facility.

The passengers can access the Wi-Fi facility through a password and a booking counter will also be inaugurated at the Platform No 1 of the Secunderabad railway station.
