Why touch panel of Apple iPhones can lead to disastrous results revealed!

With the Apple’s iPhone in hand, it is indeed a little annoying to find that one is unable to tap on the right spot on the screen, but a group of tech experts have reportedly found that it is not human error but fault of the hi-tech device that leads to wrong typing or tapping.

Finnish tech company OptoFidelity tested the performance of the Apple iPhone 5S and the cheaper 5C model against an older Samsung Galaxy S3 for the accuracy of their touch interface.

The experts found that Apple iPhones might be fast but they lag behind in touch accuracy, news.com.au reports.

The company used a robot with an artificial finger to coordinates from a touch device and a pass or fail score was recorded when the actual touch position registered greater than 1mm off from the reported coordinates from the artificial finger.

The report said that for an onscreen keyboard, with a QWERTYUIOP row, neither the iPhone 5S or the 5C would be able to properly detect whether it was typed Q, I, O, and P if one is touching them close to the edge of each actual key.

While the Galaxy 3S only loses accuracy towards the very edge of the key, where the iPhones are substantially more inaccurate, the report added. (ANI)
