TDP MLC Yalamanchili Babu Rajendra Prasad has alleged that there were clear indications of a clear collusion between the YSR Congress and Congress and it became clear because of the high security the government has provided to Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy, whom he has described as a criminal.
Talking to the media on Sunday, he has expressed shock at the scheme of the YSR Congress leaders to torch 100 buses all over the state, and said that Jagan has spent Rs. 110 crore for this criminal activity. He has questioned whether it was the duty of the government to protect the people or Jagan. He has questioned if it was necessary to provide so much security to the YSR Congress chief. He has questioned the Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy why he has not taken any action though Jagan has openly threatened that there would be havoc in the state if he was arrested. Referring to the statements of Congress leaders that former excise minister Mopidevi Venkata Ramana was made a scapegoat, Rajendra Prasad has questioned them to name the person or persons who made him the scapegoat.
Replying to questions, Rajendra Prasad has said no one from the TDP would join the YSR Congress. He said only criminals were joining Jagan.
Questioning why Sabbam Hari, Undavalli Arun Kumar, Vatti Vasanta Kumar, Alla Nani and others were being permitted into the Dilkusha guest house, he has sarcastically asked if it was Gandhi Bhavan, headquarters of the Congress party. Reiterating that there was match fixing between Kiran Kumar Reddy and Jagan, he said this was the reason why no action was being taken against the latter. He has also alleged that there were serious attempts from New Delhi to save Jagan from all the cases.
Strongly condemning the hike of petroleum price, Rajendra Prasad has said that his party would be organizing Harthal on May 31 throughout the state. (NSS)
