Why not fulfill the promise to form Telangana-Shinde

Congress leaders of Seema Andhra Region received a setback in their efforts to keep A.P state united when Home Minister, Mr.Sushil Kumar Shinde told them frankly and questioned them that why shouldn’t Congress fulfill its promise to form a separate Telangana state?

Seema Andhra leaders were surprised to hear this frank remark by Mr. Shinde. He also asked these leaders, should Congress go back from its promise?. He pointed out that when Congress had included it in its election manifesto, why did they keep quiet all these days?.

Despite this cold treatment, Seema Andhra Congressmen are planning to meet Mr.Ghulam Nabi Azad and Mr. Vylar Ravi today.

It is likely that a meeting of the allied parties of U P A will be covened on 24th January and the core committee of Congress on 25th January. Mr. Shinde is proceeding to Bangladesh on 27th January.

Congress M.P’s representing Telangana met Mr. S.Jaipal Reddy also.Congress MLA’s and MLC’s would reach New Delhi today to meet Central leaders.

Twelve Ministers and more than 30 MLA’s of Seema Andhra are exerting their pressure on Central leaders for not bifurcating the state.

Yesterday, Seema Andhra Congress leaders received a jolt by Mr. Vyalar Ravi, Mr.Dig Vijay Singh and Mr. Sushil Kumar Shinde.

Mr.Vylar Ravi has given them appointment at 4pm today. Mr. Digvijay Singh surprised them by saying that he is not the in charge of A.P Affairs. He asked the leaders of Telangana N.G.O’s about the strength of Telangana employees in A.P Secretariat.

Mr. Shailajanath told that no decision has yet been taken about Telangana issue.
