Why no probe against Chandrababu?

Taking all these factors into consideration, the questions posed by Gattu Ramachandra Rao on Friday whether investigation was done completely in any case allegedly involving Chandrababu Naidu and whether any court has given clean chit to him are quite relevant. The people of the State have a right to know the facts relating to the alleged corrupt activities of Chandrababu Naidu when he was the Chief Minister, whether he had really managed some judicial officers in any case and whether he is really clean.

Also the State CPI-M and the Lawyers Forum which brought out booklets on the alleged large scale corrupt practices of Naidu, the three Secretaries of the then (2009) Congress Legislature Party, E Pratap Reddy, Konda Surekha and S Gangaram, who have leveled several allegations against Naidu, as also the CPI and BJP leaders, who have leveled several allegations of corruption against Naidu, owe an explanation to the people as to why they have not pursued the case against Naidu. Similarly, the Congress MP Lagadapati Rajagopal, who staged a dharna at Visakhapatnam on Friday against the alleged bribe for bail episode, is expected to launch similar protests to persuade the Centre to order probes into the alleged corrupt practices of Naidu and unearth the facts.
