Why Muslims do not benefit from govt. schemes?

Even as the governments make lofty claims of taking Muslims out of backwardness, some times they also take practical measures to do so but sadly minorities especially Muslims do not fully avail the schemes. Thanks to their negligence and prejudice of government officials cores of rupees allotted for minority welfare go back to government’s treasury.

On the occasion of birth centenary of the first education minister of our country Maulana Abul Kalam Azad, Maulana Azad Education Foundation was founded, under which funds are provided to educational institutions and Non Government Organisations busy in eradicating educational backwardness. Scholarships are also given to minority students. But minorities in general and Muslims in particular have no knowledge about Maulana Azad Education Foundation, New Delhi.

There are many Muslim institutions in our state and city which can avail the funds provided by Maulana Azad National Foundation. It must be noted that Maulana Azad Education Fund has invited applications for grant-in-aid for the year 2014-15. The last date to submit applications is September 30. Application form and other details can be obtained from the foundation website maef.nic.in.
