Telangana Bachao Mission convener Nagam Janardhan Reddy today said the situation of drought is so severe in theTelangana state that he did not see this kind of situation earlier.
Speaking to media after visiting Jadcharla and Kalvakurti Mandals as part of Ryto Bharosa Yatra, Nagam alleged that the State was being ruled by one man. It was a one-man rule in the State. Criticising functioning of the TRS government, he said when the State was facing severe drought situation, Chief Minister KCR was not bothering in sending report to the Centre. He also alleged that contractors and TRS workers got benefitted in “Mission Kakatiya” scheme.
When the State was going through drought situation, KCR instead of leaving for Chaina, should visit drought-affected areas, Nagam advised. The government has no concern about plight of farmers and it was not proper on the part of CM to say that let us wait till September 30. KCR should divulge how he was going to help the farmers, he said.
Former MLA Y Srinivas Reddy, Dushyant Reddy, Malla Reddy, Narasimhulu and others accompanied Nagam during the Yatra. (NSS)
