“Who authorized CM to hold protest at Lt. Governor’s residence ” asks Delhi High Court

New Delhi: AAP Party has received a serious backlash from Delhi High Court after the court asked the party’s lawyer on whose authority did the party chief and Delhi’s CM held a sit-in protest at Lieutenant Governor Anil Baijal’s official residence.

The Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal along with three of his ministers have been protesting in the Lt. governors house sitting in the guest room, DC reported.

Replying to the court, the lawyers said the IAS officers are not attending meetings called by Ministers and that the protest was “an individual decision”.

A day earlier, Health Minister Satyendar Jain, who was on a hunger strike at the Lt. Governor’s residence was rushed to hospital after his health deteriorated.
