Mumbai, October 09: Imagine a first timer coming face to face with a living legend on the very first day of the shoot for her debut film. Sounds challenging, right? This is what happened to Jacqueline Fernandez who was in for a pleasant surprise when informed by director Sujoy Ghosh that her first talkie portion of the film would have her sharing the same frame as Amitabh Bachchan.
“Of course I knew that I had quite a few scenes with Mr. Bachchan. But I expected the shoot to start on a relatively easier note, considering ALADIN is my debut movie. Imagine the kind of surprise that was in store for me when I was told that I had to shoot for a talkie portion with him. I had done a few walking shots with him earlier but to mouth dialogues in front of him was something special”, says Jacqueline who hails from Sri Lanka and had to brush up her Hindi on the job.
